I sold mine this summer for the Colorado. Winter ground clearance is a real challenge. Fantastic AWD system though

Poor thing looks cold. You should rescue it and bring it somewhere more hospitable. P lease mind the icicles in the meantime. We’ll put the kettle on for you.

Were the factory skid plates not stout enough? I thought ground clearance was a non-issue as it just penguin slides on the belly of the car. Just curious

Factory skid plate is a joke in snowy climates. Mine ripped off the first winter I had the car. Replaced it with an aftermarket aluminium plate.
Ground clearance is 4". Maybe not a problem in California, but here I was constantly scraping.
